He Intelligence Bureau, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has announced a major recruitment drive for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Executive. A total of 3717 vacancies are open for graduates across India. Interested candidates can apply online from 19th July to 10th August 2025 through the official MHA website.

ASSISTANT CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE OFFICER GRADE – II/EXECUTIVE EXAMINATION – 2025

🔹Post Name:

• Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Executive (ACIO-II/Exe)

🔹Total Vacancies:

🔹 Pay Scale:

• Level 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400) + admissible central government allowances

• Special Security Allowance: 20% of basic pay

• Cash compensation for duty on holidays (max 30 days)

🔹Phase-1 :  100 Marks / Duration Time 1 Hours

• 100 Objective type MCQs, divided into 5 parts containing 20 questions of 1 mark each on:

•  a. Current Affairs, 

• b. General Studies, 

• c. Numerical aptitude, 

• d. Reasoning/logical aptitude e. English 

[Negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer.]

🔹Phase-2 :  50 Marks / Duration Time 1 Hours 

• Descriptive type paper of 50 marks:

• Essay (20 marks); English comprehension (10 marks) & Long answer type questions (2 questions of 10 marks each on Current Affairs, Economics, Socio-political issues etc. (20 marks).

🔹Phase-3 :  100 Marks  

• Interview/Personality test

🔹 Final Selection Criteria:

1. Final merit list will be based on combined marks of Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III.

2. Candidates must clear each tier individually with minimum qualifying marks.

3. Selection will be subject to:

   • Document Verification

   • Character & Antecedent Verification

   • Medical Examination

1️⃣ Job Location:

• All India Service Liability

• Candidates must be willing to work anywhere in India as per government posting.

2️⃣ Post Nature:

• Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial

• Temporary post, but may become permanent depending on rules and performance.

3️⃣ Disability Status:

• This post is not suitable for PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities).

• Candidates with disability should not apply.

4️⃣ Vacancy Status:

• The number of vacancies is provisional and subject to change based on administrative needs.

5️⃣ Computer Knowledge:

• Desirable but not mandatory.

• Candidates with basic computer knowledge will be preferred.

6️⃣ Exam Centers:

• Candidates can choose five cities for the Tier-I exam.

• IB reserves the right to change exam centers if necessary.

• Mobile phones, smartwatches, or electronic devices are strictly banned at exam centers.

• Canvassing or external influence will lead to disqualification.

• Only one application per candidate is allowed.

• Fee once paid will not be refunded.

1️⃣ Visit the Official Website

2️⃣ Registration (Step-I)

• Click on “Apply Online”

• Accept the declaration by clicking “I Agree”

• Enter basic details like name, mobile number, email ID

• After submission, you will receive an Application Sequence Number (ASN) and password via email/SMS

3️⃣ Login (Step-II)

• Re-login using the ASN and password

• Fill in detailed personal information, educational qualification, category, etc.

4️⃣ Upload Documents

• Photograph: 100–200 KB, JPG/JPEG format, light background

• Signature: 80–150 KB, JPG/JPEG format, signed on white paper with black pen

5️⃣ Fee Payment

• Pay the required application fee via SBI ePay (Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI / Challan)

• Online Fee Payment Deadline: 10 August 2025

• Offline (Challan) Payment Deadline: 12 August 2025

6️⃣ Preview and Final Submit

• Review the entire application form before submitting

• Once submitted, no corrections will be allowed

• Download and print the final application form and payment receipt for future reference
