Education Qualification (Post Wise) for IBPS RRB XIV 2025

1. Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
• Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRB
• Preference: Knowledge or experience in banking

2. Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate
• Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRB
• Preference: Knowledge or experience in banking

3. Officer Scale-II (Manager)

(a) General Banking Officer

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
• At least 2 years of experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution

(b) Agriculture Officer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science / Dairy Science / Fishery Science / Pisciculture / Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation
• Minimum 50% marks and at least 2 years of relevant experience

(c) Marketing Officer

• MBA in Marketing from a recognized University

(d) Treasury Manager

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a recognized University/Institute

Exam Pattern

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

Prelims: 80 questions, 80 marks, 45 minutes (Reasoning 40; Numerical Ability 40).
Mains: 200 questions, 200 marks, 120 minutes (Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, English/Hindi, Numerical Ability).

Officer Scale I

Prelims: 80 questions, 80 marks (Reasoning; Quantitative Aptitude).
Mains: 200 questions, 200 marks (Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, English/Hindi, Quantitative Aptitude).

Officer Scale II & III

Single Online Exam: Objective test covering Reasoning, Financial Awareness, Computer Knowledge, English/Hindi, Quantitative Aptitude and (for Scale II Specialist) Professional Knowledge.

Negative Marking: 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in all objective tests.

Selection Process

1. Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Prelims → Mains → Final merit (no interview).
2. Officer Scale I: Prelims → Mains → Interview → Final merit.
3. Officer Scale II & III: Single Exam → Interview → Final merit.

For final merit in Officer posts, weightage is typically 80% for Mains/Single Exam and 20% for Interview (subject to official notification).
