Stage 1: Combined Recruitment Test (CRT)
- Objective-type written exam (pen & paper format)
- Medium: Hindi & English / Duration: 2 hours
- Marks: 300, typically 120 questions (approx. 2.5 marks each)
- Negative marking: −1/3rd mark per wrong answer
Stage 2: Interview / Personality Test
- Marks: 100, contributing 25% to the final merit score
- Minimum qualifying marks: General/EWS – 50; OBC – 45; SC/ST/PwBD – 40
Final Merit List Calculation
- Weightage: CRT (75%) + Interview (25%) used to prepare final merit list and shortlist candidates
