Bihar Diploma DECE‑LE 2025 First Round Seat Allotment Result Out

The BCECEB has released the first round seat allotment result for DECE-LE 2025. Eligible candidates can now download the allotment PDF from the official website

1. Official Authority:
   The exam and admission process is organized by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB).
2. Purpose of the Exam:
   For lateral entry admission into the 2nd year (3rd semester) of Polytechnic Diploma Engineering programs in various government and private institutes across Bihar.
3. Eligibility Requirement:
   • Must have passed 10+2 (Science) or ITI (2 years) or Diploma in relevant trade.
   • Minimum 35-45% marks depending on category.
4. Age Limit:
   There is usually no upper or lower age limit, but candidates must fulfill educational criteria.
5. Online Application Mode:
   Applications are to be submitted only via online mode through the official website: bceceboard.bihar.gov.in
6. Application Fee:
   • ₹750 for General / OBC
   • ₹480 for SC / ST / PwD
   • Fees must be paid online via debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking.
7. Documents Required:
   • Scanned Passport-size Photo and Signature
   • 10th & 12th/ITI/Diploma Marksheet
   • Caste, Domicile & Income Certificates (if applicable)
   • Aadhaar or valid ID proof
8. Application Correction:
   A short window is usually provided after submission to edit/correct the form (check notification for dates).
9. Admit Card Download:
   Admit cards are released online only; no physical copies are sent by post.
10. Entrance Exam Pattern:

• Multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
• Subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and General Engineering
• Offline OMR-based mode

• Merit is based on performance in the entrance exam.
• Qualified candidates are invited for online counselling and seat allotment.

• It includes institute-wise and branch-wise available seats.

• Reservation applicable as per Bihar government norms
• Relaxation in fees and eligibility for SC/ST/EWS/OBC/PwD categories

1. Beware of Fraud:
   Apply only through the official portal. Avoid third-party agents or unauthorized links.
2. Save & Print:
   Always save and print your application form, fee receipt, and admit card for future reference.

• Counselling & Seat Allotment Start

  • The 1st round seat allotment result was released on 18 July 2025 by BCECEB

• Downloading Allotment Letter

  • Visit the official BCECEB portal (bceceboard.bihar.gov.in).

  • Click on “First Round Seat Allotment Result of DECE[LE]-2025”.

  • Download your allotment letter, which includes institute name and allotted course  

• Document Verification & Reporting

  • Report to the allotted institute during specified dates (check notice).

  • Carry allotment letter, 10th/12th/ITI mark sheets, ID proof, fee payment receipt, etc.

• Seat Acceptance and Fee Payment

  • Pay the admission/reporting fee at the allotted institute to confirm your seat.

• Seat Matrix & Rank Details

  • Official seat matrix and opening/closing ranks are available on BCECEB website

• Must have passed 12th Science with compulsory Physics and Chemistry, plus either Mathematics or Biology  

  Or 12th Science with Mathematics is acceptable  
  Or 12th Science with Vocational/Technical subjects 
  Or 10th pass + 2‑year ITI is also eligible.

• General, EBS, BC : ₹ 2200/-
• SC, ST : ₹ 2200/-
• PH : ₹ 2200/- 

Step 1: Written Entrance Examination

• The Bihar DECE‑LE exam is conducted in offline OMR mode.

• It includes multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

• +4 marks for each correct answer and –1 mark for each incorrect answer.

Step 2: Result Declaration & Rank List

• BCECEB publishes results after the exam.

• Candidates are shortlisted based on ranks for the next stage.

Step 3: Counselling Registration & Choice Filling

• Candidates must register for counselling on the official BCECEB website.

• After registration, they fill in their preferences for colleges and branches.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

• Based on the rank and choices filled, seats are allotted.

• The first round usually takes place in July, followed by other rounds if needed.

Step 5: Document Verification & Reporting

• Candidates must report to the allotted college with all original documents.

• After document verification and fee submission, admission is confirmed.

Step 6: Mop-Up Round (If Needed)

• If any seats remain vacant, BCECEB may conduct mop-up counselling rounds.

• Candidates who missed earlier rounds or weren’t allotted seats can participate.

• Register Yourself

  • Enter your Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, and create a password.

  • Submit to get your Registration ID and Activation Link on email.

• Login & Fill Application Form

  • Use Registration ID and Password to log in.

  • Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and communication address.

• Upload Documents

  • Upload scanned copy of:

    • Passport-size Photo

    • Signature

    • 10th/12th/ITI Marksheet

    • Category certificate (if applicable)

• Pay Application Fee

  • Use Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI to pay fees online.

• Preview and Submit

  • Check all filled information carefully.

  • Click on Submit Final and download a copy of the form for future use.

• Print Confirmation Page

  • Take a printout of the confirmation page and keep it safe.
