CENTRALIZED EMPLOYMENT NOTICE (CEN) No.04/2024
1. Provisional Eligibility
Eligibility is considered provisional, based on details the candidate submits in the online application. Final verification by RRB happens during Document Verification (DV). If any discrepancy or false claim is found, candidature will be canceled.
2. Educational & Technical Qualifications
Candidates must possess the prescribed educational/technical/professional qualifications for the applied post on or before the closing date. Those awaiting results are not eligible. Refer to the Post Parameter Table and Vacancy Table in the detailed CEN notice.
3. Age Limit
Age limits are effective as of 01 January 2025, with relaxations as applicable.
4. Medical Standards
Candidates must meet the prescribed medical fitness standards. Being medically unfit renders the candidate ineligible; no alternative posting is provided.
5. Account & Communication Details
A valid mobile number and email address are mandatory for the entire recruitment process; all communications are via SMS/email. Once created, these details—and the account—cannot be modified.
6. Scribe for PwBD Candidates
Visually impaired, or those affected by cerebral palsy, locomotor disability (one arm), intellectual disability (autism, specific learning disability, mental illness), may opt for a scribe. The scribe must have education one step below the candidate, and a separate e-call letter will be issued. Compensatory time (20 minutes/hour) is allowed.
7. NOC for Employed Candidates
Applicants serving in Central/State government (including Railways/PSU) must inform their employers and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at DV, or else their candidature will be canceled.
8. EBC & Fee Concession Claims
EBC (Economically Backward Class) benefits require valid certificates (e.g., Income Certificate, BPL Card, railway-issued Izzat MST). These must be declared online and produced at DV.
9. Finality of Submission
Only one application is allowed per candidate across all RRBs. Multiple applications will lead to outright rejection and debarment. The RRB chosen is final and cannot be changed later.

RRB CEN No. 04/2024 – Paramedical
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – All eligible candidates will have to appear for a CBT, which will be conducted online.
- Document Verification (DV) – Candidates shortlisted from CBT will be called for document verification.
- Medical Examination – Final shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a medical fitness test prescribed for the post.
- Final Merit List – Prepared based on CBT performance and qualifying the medical standards.
