Yantrik, Exam City Details

• Navik (General Duty – GD):
  • Passed 10+2 / Intermediate with Physics and Mathematics from a COBSE-recognized board.
  • Age: 18–22 years (Born between 01 May 2004 to 30 Apr 2008).
• Navik (Domestic Branch – DB):
  • Passed Class 10 / Matriculation from a COBSE-recognized board.
  • Age: 18–22 years (Born between 01 May 2004 to 30 Apr 2008).
• Yantrik (Technical Branch – Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics):
  • Passed Class 10 (Matric) from COBSE-recognized board AND
    • 3 or 4 year Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by AICTE.
    • OR Passed Class 10 & Class 12 and completed a 2 or 3 year Diploma in the same engineering branches.
  • Age: 18–22 years (Born between 01 May 2004 to 30 Apr 2008).

• General / OBC / EWS Candidates: ₹300/-
• SC / ST Candidates: ₹0/- (No Fee)
• Payment Mode: Online (Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, Mobile Wallet etc.)

Indian Coast Guard Navik GD & Yantrik 2026 Exam

• Stage I – Written Examination (Computer Based Test):
  • Questions from Mathematics, Physics, English, Reasoning, and General Knowledge (Class 10+2 level).
  • Yantrik candidates also face Diploma-level technical questions.
• Stage II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
  • 1.6 Km run in 7 minutes.
  • 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak).
  • 10 Push-ups.
• Stage III – Document Verification & Initial Medical Examination:
  • Verification of original certificates.
  • Basic medical standards check.
• Stage IV – Final Medical at INS Chilka & Merit List:
  • Final medical examination.
  • All India merit list prepared based on performance in written exam, PFT, and medical fitness.

• The Indian Coast Guard has announced vacancies for Navik GD, Navik DB, and Yantrik posts under 01/2026 & 02/2026 batches.

• Exam City Details released on 04 September 2025.
• Stage-I Exam will be conducted from 19 to 22 September 2025.
