Eligibility & Qualification
🔹 1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent from any recognized board as on the last date of application.
Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) or Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License is mandatory.
The driving license must be issued before the notification date.
🔹 2. Age Limit

BC/EBC (Male): 20–27 years
BC/EBC (Female): 20–28 years
SC/ST (Male/Female): 20–30 years

🔹 4. Driving Skill Requirement
Practical driving test will be conducted during the selection process.
Candidate must be familiar with vehicle parts, traffic signs, and basic maintenance.
Inability to drive during test will result in disqualification.
🔹 5. Nationality
Applicant must be a citizen of India.
Preference will be given to domicile candidates of Bihar.

For SC / ST / Female (All Categories): ₹ 180/-
Selection Process
🔹 1. Written Examination

No Negative Marking
Minimum Qualifying Marks: 30% (Failing this = disqualification)
👉 Purpose: Shortlisting for Physical Test (PET)
🔹 2. Physical Efficiency Test – PET
This stage tests your fitness level through the following:
a) Running
Male Candidates: 1.6 km in 6 minutes 30 seconds
Female Candidates: 1 km in 5 minutes
b) High Jump
Male: Minimum 4 feet
Female: Minimum 3 feet
c) Shot Put
Male: 16-pound shot put to be thrown 16 feet minimum
Female: 12-pound shot put to be thrown 10 feet minimum
👉 Note: Each activity carries marks; performance directly affects your ranking.
🔹 3. Driving Skill Test
This test ensures candidates can actually drive properly.
Test Type: Practical (Hands-on driving test)
Vehicle Types: Light Motor Vehicle (LMV), Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV)
Tasks May Include:
Reverse parking
Uphill driving
Parallel parking
Traffic signal response
Emergency brake
License Requirement: LMV or HMV license should be older than 1 year as on 17 July 2025.
👉 Important: Poor performance = disqualification, even if passed PET.
🔹 4. Document Verification

PET and driving test admit cards
👉 Caution: Any mismatch or fake document = direct rejection.

Conducted By: Government Medical Board
Tests Include:
Eye Test (vision – color blindness, night blindness)
Blood pressure
Drug test
Physical deformities
Hearing, speech, height, chest measurement
