Describe The Result

Visit the Official Result Portal:
Go to https://results.cbse.nic.in or https://cbseresults.nic.in
Click on the Relevant Result Link:
On the homepage, click on the link that reads “Senior School Certificate Compartment Examination (Class XII) Results 2025”.
Enter Your Credentials:
- Enter your Roll Number
- Enter School Number (as mentioned on your admit card)
- Enter Date of Birth or Admit Card ID if required
Submit the Details:
Click on the “Submit” button after entering all required information.
View Your Result:
Your CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Result 2025 will appear on the screen.
Download or Print:
Click “Print” or press Ctrl + P to save a PDF or take a printout for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria

Appeared in Main Board Exam 2025:
The student must have appeared in the CBSE Class 12 main board examination held in February–March 2025.
Failed in One or Two Subjects:
Students who failed in one or two subjects in the main exam are eligible to appear in the supplementary exam. Students failing in three or more subjects are not eligible.
Regular or Private Candidate:
Both regular (school-enrolled) and private (individual) candidates are eligible, provided they had registered for the main exam.
Form Submission via School or Online:
- Regular students must apply through their school authorities.
- Private students must fill the supplementary form online via CBSE portal when the window opens.
Attendance & CBSE Affiliation:
Students must have fulfilled the minimum attendance requirement (generally 75%) and should be from CBSE-affiliated institutions.

Note: These services are generally applicable after main exam results and may not apply to supplementary results.

🔹 1. Result Declaration Date:

CBSE declared the supplementary result on August 1, 2025, on cbseresults.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in.

🔹 2. Exam Date:

The Class 12 compartment exam was conducted on July 15, 2025, for all streams (Science, Commerce, Arts).

🔹 3. Total Students Appeared:

Around 1.38 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 12 supplementary exam 2025.

🔹 4. Overall Pass Percentage:

The overall pass percentage in the supplementary result is approximately 38.36%, which is significantly lower than the main result.

This year’s pass percentage is slightly lower than 2024's supplementary result, reflecting tighter evaluation or lower performance.

🔹 7. Marksheet Availability:

The digital marksheet is available for download from DigiLocker and the CBSE portal. No physical copy is dispatched by CBSE.

🔹 8. No Revaluation/Rechecking:

For supplementary results, CBSE does not allow re-evaluation or re-checking, unlike the main exams.

🔹 9. College Admissions Impact:

Students who cleared the exam can now apply for college admissions, but might miss the first cut-off lists of several universities due to delayed results.
