SSC CHSL 2025 Correction Window Date Extended – Apply Correction from 25 July


Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025

As per the latest notification released by SSC, the correction window for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2025 (CHSLE 2025) has been revised. Previously scheduled from 23rd to 24th July, the new correction window will now be open from 25th to 26th July 2025 till 11:00 PM. All other terms remain unchanged.

Eligibility & Qualification

1. Nationality / Citizenship:

  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, etc., intending permanent settlement in India

 2. Educational Qualification (As on 01-01-2026):

Degrees through Open/Distance mode will be accepted only if approved by UGC and Distance Education Bureau for the period when acquired.

3. Age Limit (As on 01-01-2026):

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 27 Years
  • DOB Range: 02-01-1999 to 01-01-2008

Selection Process

Stage 1: Tier-I Examination (Computer-Based Test)

  • Type: Objective Type, Online (CBT)
  • Duration: 60 minutes (80 mins for PwBD)
  • Total Questions: 100
  • Maximum Marks: 200
  • Subjects:
    1. English Language – 25 Questions (50 Marks)
    2. General Intelligence – 25 Questions (50 Marks)
    3. Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Questions (50 Marks)
    4. General Awareness – 25 Questions (50 Marks)
  • Negative Marking: 0.50 mark per wrong answer

Stage 2: Tier-II Examination (Advanced CBT + Skill Test)

⚠️ Note:

  • All sections must be qualified separately
  • Negative marking: 1 mark per wrong answer (Section I to III)

Stage 3: Document Verification (DV)

  • Candidates must produce original documents such as:
    • 12th Marksheet & Certificate
    • Caste certificate (if applicable)
    • PwBD/ESM certificate (if applicable)

Stage 4: Final Selection

  • Final merit will be prepared based on normalized scores of Tier-I and Tier-II.
  • Skill Test / Typing Test is qualifying only and will not be considered for merit.

Important facts to know before applying online form

1. Apply only on the new SSC website

SSC has launched a new application portal: https://ssc.gov.in
➡️ Applications will be accepted only through this portal.
➡️ Old site https://ssc.nic.in will not accept new applications.

2. New OTR is mandatory

All candidates must create a fresh One-Time Registration (OTR).
➡️ Old SSC OTR credentials are not valid on the new portal.

3. Aadhaar-based registration promoted

Candidates with Aadhaar are encouraged to use it for registration.
➡️ Those without Aadhaar can use alternate ID documents (e.g. PAN, Passport).

4. Photo will be clicked during exam

During Tier-I and Tier-II exams, candidates’ live photographs will be captured.
➡️ These photos will appear on scorecards and results.

5. Exam center cannot be changed later

Once selected, the exam center cannot be changed.
➡️ Choose your center carefully while applying.

6. Valid Email & Mobile Number Required

A valid email ID and mobile number is mandatory for registration.
➡️ All future communications will be done via these only.

7. Number of vacancies is tentative

👉 SSC has announced 3131 tentative vacancies
➡️ This number may increase or decrease based on departmental confirmations.

8. Age is counted as on 01-01-2026

➡️ Minimum: 18 years | Maximum: 27 years
➡️ Age relaxation as per Government of India norms


How to Apply online form

Step 1: Visit SSC’s New Website

Go to the official new website of SSC:  https://ssc.gov.in

Step 2: Complete One-Time Registration (OTR)

  • If you're applying for the first time on this new portal, create a new OTR profile
  • Required details include:
    • Name, DOB, Gender
    • Aadhaar Number / Alternative ID
    • Valid Mobile Number & Email ID
    • Upload recent Passport-size Photo and Signature

Step 3: Login and Fill the Application Form

  • After registration, login using your credentials
  • Go to “Apply” section and select CHSL Examination 2025
  • Fill out the form carefully:
    • Personal details
    • Educational qualification
    • Category details
    • Choice of exam centers

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

  • Upload scanned photo and signature
  • Upload PwBD / Category Certificate (if applicable)

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

Make payment online via:

  • Debit/Credit Card
  • Net Banking
  • UPI

Step 6: Final Review and Submit

  • Check all entered details carefully
  • Submit the application form
  • Download or print the application receipt for future use
