Railway Recruitment Board has released the tentative schedule of Computer Based Test (CBT) for Ministerial and Isolated posts. The exam will be held from 10th September to 12th September 2025. If you want to apply for this recruitment process or have already applied, then it is time to start full preparation.

Application Fee
  • UR/OBC/EWS: ₹500 (₹400 refundable after Stage-I)
  • SC/ST/PH/Female: ₹250 (₹250 refundable after Stage-I)
Selection Process

1. CBT – Computer Based Test

  • Most posts require a Computer Based Test (CBT).
  • The CBT may include:
    • General Awareness (Railway rules, current affairs, Indian geography, culture)
    • Arithmetic/Mathematics
    • General Intelligence & Reasoning
    • Technical/Professional Knowledge (for specialized posts like Lab Assistant, Law Assistant, Teachers, etc.)
  • Duration & Marks: Varies by post; usually 90–120 minutes, multiple-choice questions.

2. Typing/Skill Test (if applicable)

  • For posts like Clerk/Typist, Junior Translator, or Hindi Translator, a Typing Test / Translation Test is conducted.
  • Minimum qualifying speed/accuracy is required.

3. Document Verification (DV)

  • Shortlisted candidates after CBT and skill test are called for Document Verification.
  • Documents include educational certificates, age proof, category certificates, and medical certificates.

4. Medical Examination

  • For posts like Station Master, Traffic Apprentice, Commercial Apprentice, candidates must undergo a medical fitness test as per railway norms.

5. Final Merit List

  • Based on CBT scores, skill test marks, and eligibility, a final merit list is prepared.
  • Reservation and category-based relaxation are applied according to Government of India rules.

  • Find the Admit Card Link
    • Look for “CEN 07/2024 Ministerial & Isolated Categories Admit Card” link under the notifications or latest updates section.
  • Login with Credentials
    • Enter your Registration Number / Roll Number and Date of Birth / Password as used during the application process.
  • Submit Details
    • Click on the Submit / Login button to access your Admit Card.
  • Download & Print
    • Download the Admit Card in PDF format.
    • Take 2–3 printouts for examination purposes.
  • Check Details Carefully
