UP Police Recruitment Board invites online applications for 4,543 vacancies of Sub-Inspector, PAC Platoon Commander, SSF Inspector, and Lady SI under 2025 direct recruitment. UP Police SI Recruitment 2025

1.The applicant must be:

• A citizen of India, OR

• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, OR

• A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, or specified East African countries for permanent settlement in India.
  (For categories (ii) & (iii), an eligibility certificate from the State Government is required.)

2. Educational Qualification  

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a University established by law in India or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.

• Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination or awaiting results are NOT eligible.

• Candidates must possess the required documents (mark sheet, certificate) at the time of application.

3. Preferential Qualifications  

If two or more candidates secure equal marks, preference will be given to those having —

• "O" Level Computer Certificate from DOEACC / NIELIT, OR

• Minimum 2 years of service in Territorial Army, OR

• ‘B’ Certificate of NCC.

4. Age Limit (As on 01 July 2025)

• General Category: 21–28 years (Born between 02.07.1997 to 01.07.2004)

• Upper Age Relaxation:

  • OBC / SC / ST (U.P. domicile only): +5 years

  • State Govt. employees: +5 years

  • Ex-servicemen: Actual age – service years + 3 years (should not exceed 34 years)

• Special Relaxation 2025: All categories get 3 years relaxation as a one-time measure.

5. Physical Standards 

• Chest expansion: Minimum 5 cm (for male). 

6. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)  

• Male: 4.8 km run within 28 minutes

• Female: 2.4 km run within 16 minutes

• General/ EWS/ OBC : ₹500/-
• SC / ST : ₹400/-

Uttar Pradesh Police SI Recruitment 2025

1. Written Examination (OMR-Based)

   • Objective type question paper with 4 sections, each of 40 questions.

   • Total Marks: 400 (100 per section).

   • Time Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes).

   • Subjects:

     1. General Hindi – 100 marks (40 Q)

     2. Basic Law/Constitution/General Knowledge – 100 marks (40 Q)

     3. Numerical & Mental Ability – 100 marks (40 Q)

     4. Mental Aptitude, IQ & Reasoning – 100 marks (40 Q)

   • Minimum Qualifying Marks:

     • 35% in each section

     • 50% overall (after normalization if multiple shifts).

2. Document Verification & Physical Standard Test (PST)

   • Verification of original documents for eligibility, reserved category claims, etc.

   • Measurement of physical standards as per category:

     • Male: Height – 168 cm (Gen/OBC/SC), 160 cm (ST); Chest – 79–84 cm (Gen/OBC/SC), 77–82 cm (ST)

     • Female: Height – 152 cm (Gen/OBC/SC), 147 cm (ST); Weight – minimum 40 kg

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (Qualifying in Nature)

   • Male candidates: 4.8 km run within 28 minutes

   • Female candidates: 2.4 km run within 16 minutes

4. Final Merit List

   • Based on written exam marks, reservation rules, and candidate preferences.

   • No waiting list will be prepared.

   • In case of tie:

     1. Candidate with preferential qualification (O-Level, NCC ‘B’ Certificate, Territorial Army service) gets priority.

     2. Older candidate preferred.

     3. If still tied, as per English alphabet order of name in High School Certificate.

5. Medical Examination

   • Candidates must be in good mental & physical health, free from defects like Knock-knee, Flat-foot, Color blindness, etc.

   • Tests will include vision, hearing, physical deformities, etc.

UP Police SI Recruitment 2025

1. Vacancy Change Possibility – The number of vacancies can be increased or decreased at any stage before the examination.

2. One Application Only – Candidates can submit only one application; multiple applications will be rejected.

3. OTR Mandatory – One Time Registration (OTR) is compulsory before filling the online application.

4. Document Upload Required – All required documents like educational certificates, category proof, etc., must be uploaded online via DigiLocker or scan.

5. Selection Basis – Final selection is based on the written exam marks (category-wise merit) & reservation policy.

6. Exam Type – Written examination will be OMR-based, 400 marks, with four sections.

7. Minimum Qualifying Marks – 35% in each subject and 50% overall (after normalization).

8. Physical Standards & PET – Only those who clear PST will appear for PET; PET is qualifying in nature.

9. Admit Card, Answer Key, Results – Will be available only on the official UPPRPB website; no post or offline delivery.

10. Tie-Breaking Criteria – Preferential qualification → Older age → Alphabetical order (as per High School certificate).

11. Medical Exam – Mandatory for selected candidates; should be free from defects like knock-knee, flat-foot, color blindness, etc.

12. No Waiting List – UPPRPB will not prepare any waiting list for this recruitment.

13. Disqualification Conditions – Multiple spouses, moral turpitude conviction, impersonation, false documents, concealment of facts, or malpractice in exams.

14. Reservation – Applicable only for UP domicile candidates for vertical reservation; horizontal reservations (women, dependents of freedom fighters, ex-servicemen, PwD) as per state law.

Uttar Pradesh Police SI Recruitment 2025

1. One Time Registration (OTR) – Mandatory

   • Visit the official website: uppbpb.gov.in

   • Click on the "Apply" link for Sub-Inspector & Equivalent Posts – Direct Recruitment 2025.

   • Complete OTR using a unique email ID and mobile number (unchangeable later).

   • Verify identity via Aadhaar-based OTP authentication or DigiLocker.

   • Enter personal details and set a login password.

2. Login & Fill Application Form

   • Use your OTR credentials, Aadhaar, or DigiLocker to log in.

   • Select the recruitment: "Sub-Inspector & Equivalent Posts – 2025".

   • Fill in all required details including category, qualifications, and preference order for posts (as per eligibility).

3. Upload Documents & Real-time Photograph

   • Upload scanned copies of educational certificates, reservation/category proof, domicile, etc.
