Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the admit card for NTPC CEN 06/2024 exam. Candidates can now download their region-wise admit card from the official RRB websites. The CBT exam will be conducted as per the schedule mentioned in the hall ticket.

Qualification : 12th pass (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Typing Skill Test (TST): Applicable for Clerk posts (Junior Clerk and Accounts Clerk). Typing speed required:
- 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi
on a personal computer (no editing tools/spell check allowed).

Categories of Medical Fitness
Important Notes:
- Candidates must be physically and medically fit to carry out the duties of their post.
- Use of eyeglasses is permitted, but certain posts may disqualify candidates with color blindness or night blindness.
- Medical tests are conducted only after final shortlisting (document verification stage).
- Unfit candidates will not be appointed, even if they pass all written exams.
The selection process for RRB NTPC Undergraduate (UG) level posts under CEN-06/2024 involves multiple stages as follows:
1. Computer Based Test (CBT) - Phase 1
- Subjects : General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning
- Total Questions : 100 / Duration : 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates)
- Negative Marking : 1/3 for each wrong answer
- Purpose : Preliminary screening for all UG-level posts
2. Computer Based Test (CBT) - Phase 2
- Qualified candidates from CBT-1 will appear in CBT-2.
- Subjects & Pattern same as CBT-1, but more in-depth.
- Total Questions : 120 / Duration : 90 minutes
3. Typing Skill Test (if applicable)

Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist - Typing Speed Requirement :
- English: 30 words per minute
- Hindi: 25 words per minute
- Note : Typing test qualifying in nature only.
4. Document Verification (DV)
- Shortlisted candidates after CBT-2 (and Typing Test if applicable) will be called.
- Candidates must produce original documents related to age, education, caste, etc.।
5. Medical Examination
- Final stage before appointment.
- Conducted by Railway Medical Authorities as per post-standard.
