BSSC Recruitment 2025 –Office Attendant Apply Online for 3727 Posts

Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released recruitment for 3727 posts of Office Attendant under Advt. No. 06/2025. Interested candidates can apply online from 25 August 2025 to 26 September 2025. The minimum qualification in this recruitment is 10th pass. The selection process will be based on written examination and document verification.

 Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed 10th (Matriculation / Secondary School Exam) from a recognized board.
• Candidates with higher educational qualification can also apply, but the minimum qualification is prescribed as Matriculation pass.

Age Limit as on 01-08-2025

• General (UR) Male: 18 to 37 years
• General (UR) Female / BC / EBC: Maximum 40 years
• SC / ST (Male and Female): Maximum 42 years
• PWD Candidates: Additional relaxation as per category
• 👉 Age relaxation will be applicable as per reservation rules of Bihar Government.

Note:-

• Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• All required certificates (educational, caste, disability, etc.) must be valid and updated at the time of application.
• It is essential to be physically and mentally healthy.

• By the resolution number-15568, dated 21.08.2025 of the General Administration Department, Bihar, Patna, only Rs. 100/- (one hundred rupees) has been fixed as examination fee for each candidate.
• In view of the above, Clause-4 (Examination Fee) of the advertisement has been amended and the amount of examination fee for each candidate is fixed at Rs. 100/- (one hundred rupees) only.

1. Written Exam

• The exam will be offline (OMR based).
• Number of questions: 100 questions
• Total marks: 100 marks (each question carries 1 mark) / Time duration: 2 hours
• Level of question paper: Matriculation / 10th level

2. Subjects:

• General Studies / General Science & Maths
• Reasoning Ability

3. Document Verification

• Candidates successful in the written examination will be called for document verification.
• In this, educational certificate, caste certificate, disability certificate (if applicable), and other eligibility related documents will be checked.

4. Final Merit List

• The final selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination + document verification.
• In case of a tie, age and educational qualification will be given preference.
