Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2025

• Nationality:
  Candidate must be an Indian citizen as per Government of India rules.
• Marital Status:
  Only unmarried men and unmarried women are eligible.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Executive Branch (GS(X)/Hydro, Pilot, NAOO, ATC): BE/B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Additional Class X & XII aggregate and English marks criteria apply for some posts (Pilot, NAOO, ATC).
  • Logistics: BE/B.Tech in any discipline / MBA / B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc (IT) with PG Diploma in relevant fields / MCA / M.Sc (IT) with minimum 60% marks.
  • NAIC: BE/B.Tech in specified engineering streams OR PG degree in Electronics/Physics with 60% marks (with Class X & XII English marks condition).
  • Law: LLB degree with minimum 55% marks from a college/university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
  • Education Branch: MSc/BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA in relevant subjects with minimum 60% marks (with specific Class X & XII marks requirements).
  • Engineering & Electrical Branches: BE/B.Tech in specified engineering streams with minimum 60% marks.
  • Naval Constructor: BE/B.Tech in specified technical streams with minimum 60% marks.

• Additional Notes:
  • NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders get 5% relaxation in cut-off marks.

Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2025 Online Form

• Shortlisting of Applications
  • Based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
  • For BE/B.Tech candidates – Marks up to 5th semester (regular) or 7th semester (integrated) will be considered.
  • For Postgraduate candidates – Marks from all semesters will be considered; if in final year, pre-final year marks will be used.
• SSB Interview
  • Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email/SMS.
  • Candidates must download the call-up letter from the Indian Navy portal.
  • No change in SSB centre allowed.
  • AC 3-tier rail fare admissible for first-time candidates for that commission type.
• Medical Examination
  • Conducted for candidates recommended by SSB.
  • Must meet medical standards applicable to the branch/cadre.
• Merit List
  • Prepared based on SSB marks and subject to medical clearance.
  • Appointment depends on the availability of vacancies.
• Training
  • Candidates will join as Sub Lieutenant at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala.
  • Only unmarried candidates eligible for training.
  • Withdrawal/resignation during training may require refund of training cost.
