Central Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2025

Central Railway has announced Sports Quota Recruitment 2025 for 59 vacancies in Group C and Level-1 posts. Online applications are open from 01 to 31 August 2025 at rrccr.com. Candidates with recognized sports achievements in Athletics, Cricket, Hockey, Volleyball, Kabaddi, and other disciplines can apply. Selection will be based on sports trials, educational records, and document verification. Application fee is ₹500 for Gen/OBC and ₹250 for others, refundable after trials.

Central Railway Sports Jobs 2025

1. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years to 25 Years
• Date of Birth Range: Candidates must be born between 01/01/2001 to 01/01/2008 (both days inclusive).
• Note: No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS or any other category.

2. Educational Qualification

• Level 5/4 (Group C Higher Posts):
  Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
• Level 3/2 (Group C Lower Posts):
  • 12th Pass (10+2 stage) OR  Matriculation + ITI (approved by NCVT/SCVT) OR
  • Matriculation + Apprenticeship
• Level 1 Posts:
  • 10th Pass OR ITI OR
  • National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)

3. Sports Achievements / Norms

• Level 5/4:
  • Represented India in Olympics (Senior Category) OR
  • Minimum 3rd position in World Cup / World Championships / Asian Games / Commonwealth Games (Senior) OR
  • Youth Olympics, Champions Trophy, etc.
• Level 3/2:
  • Represented in World/Asian/Youth Championships OR
  • 3rd position in National Games / Senior National Championships / All India Inter University OR
  • 1st position in Federation Cup (Senior).
• Level 1:
  • Represented in Commonwealth / Asian / SAF Games / World University Games OR
  • 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships OR
  • 8th position in Senior National (for certain sports).

• General / OBC: ₹500 (₹400 refundable after trial appearance)
• SC / ST / Women / PWD / Ex-Servicemen / Minority / EBC: ₹250 (fully refundable after trial appearance)

Central Railway Group C Vacancy 2025

1. Document Verification & Sports Trials
   • All eligible candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV) and Sports Trial.
   • Only FIT candidates (scoring minimum marks in trial) will be considered further.
   • Candidates declared NOT FIT will be disqualified.
2. Marking Scheme (Total 100 Marks)
   • Sports Achievements (as per norms): 50 Marks
   • Game Skill, Physical Fitness & Coach’s Observation during Trial: 40 Marks
   • Educational Qualification: 10 Marks
3. Minimum Qualifying Marks
   • Level 5/4: 70 Marks / Level 3/2: 65 Marks / Level 1: 60 Marks
4. Merit List Preparation
   • Merit will be based on total marks obtained.
   • If two candidates score equal marks, younger candidate will be given preference.
5. Medical Examination
   • Final shortlisted candidates must pass prescribed Medical Fitness Test.

RRC CR Sports Quota Notification 2025

• No Reservation: Recruitment is open to all; no reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories.
• Selection Basis: Selection will be purely on sports merit + trials performance.
• Service Bond: Selected candidates must sign a 5-year Service Bond.
• Minimum 5 Years Sports Performance: Candidate must represent and perform in Railway Sports Team for at least 5 years after appointment.
• Probation Period: Performance will be reviewed during the first 2 years (probation); unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination.
• Medical Fitness: Appointment is subject to passing Railway Medical Fitness Test.
• Merit Tie Rule: If two candidates get equal marks, the younger candidate will be preferred.
• Posting Anywhere: Selected candidates can be posted anywhere under Central Railway.
• Fake/Incorrect Documents: If found guilty, candidature will be cancelled and service terminated.
• No Coaching/Agents: RRC Central Railway has not appointed any agent or coaching center; candidates must apply directly

• Register using your Aadhaar Number (or valid ID such as Voter ID/Passport/Driving License for J&K, Meghalaya, Assam candidates).
• Fill in the personal details, educational qualification & sports achievements carefully.
• Upload scanned documents:
  • Recent Passport Size Photograph (20–70 KB, JPG/JPEG, not older than 3 months)
  • Signature (20–30 KB, JPG/JPEG, in running handwriting)
  • Educational & Sports Certificates
• Pay the application fee online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.
• After successful submission, note down the Registration Number and take a printout of the application.
• No need to send a hard copy to RRC; all processes are online.
