• Pay Level: 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400/-)
• Basic Pay: ₹35,400/-
• In-hand Salary (approx.): ₹45,000 – ₹50,000/- including allowances
• Other Benefits: HRA, DA, Medical Allowance, Travel Allowance as per Bihar Govt. rules

1.Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in any one of the following subjects from a recognized university/institution:

• Chemistry / Biology / Environmental Science / Physics

Note: Final year/appearing candidates are not eligible. Degree must be completed before the last date of application (19 September 2025).

3. Additional Age Relaxation:

• Government Employees: +5 Years
• PwD Candidates: +10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: +3 Years (including service period)

Minimum Qualifying Marks (Category-wise Cut-off)

• Written Exam will carry the highest weightage (400 marks) – focus strongly on Optional Subject & General Studies.
• Interview round (50 marks) will test confidence, environmental knowledge & personality.
• Candidates with contractual/relevant work experience will get extra marks (up to 25).
• Final selection will be based strictly on merit list prepared by BPSC.
