BPSC Prelims 2025 Admit Card Released, Exam on 13 Sept

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the PCS Prelims Admit Card 2025. Candidates can download their admit card from 6 September 2025 by visiting the official website bpsc.bihar.gov.in. The exam will be conducted on 13 September 2025 at various exam centers. The admit card contains information about the exam center, time and instructions. Candidates must carry photo identity card and admit card on the exam day. Entry will not be allowed without admit card. Candidates should download the admit card on time and keep it safe.

Eligibility Criteria

BPSC Admit Card

Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025)

Minimum Age: 21–22 Years (post-wise variation)
Maximum Age:
- Male (General): 37 Years
- Female (General): 40 Years
- OBC / EBC (Male & Female): 40 Years
- SC / ST (Male & Female): 42 Years

👉 Age relaxation as per Bihar Government rules.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university.
For Financial Administrative Officer & Equivalent Posts – preference will be given to candidates with Graduation in Commerce / Economics / Mathematics.

Selection Process

BPSC PCS Prelims 2025

The selection process for BPSC PCS Prelims 2025 will be conducted in three major stages:

Preliminary Examination (Prelims)
- Objective type (MCQ-based) paper.
- Qualifying in nature, marks not counted in final merit.
- Used for shortlisting candidates for Mains.
Main Examination (Mains)
- Descriptive/Subjective type written examination.
- Includes General Studies, Optional Subjects, and Essay.
- Marks obtained are counted in the merit list.
Interview / Personality Test
- Candidates who qualify the Mains exam will be called for Interview.
- Personality, communication, and knowledge assessment.
- Final selection based on Mains + Interview marks.

👉 The final merit list is prepared considering the combined marks of the Mains Exam and Interview.
