Jaipur Development Authority Employees (Recruitment & Promotions) Regulations, (Junior Legal Officer)

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a new notification in August 2025 regarding the filling of pending vacancies from previous years through the normal recruitment process. Candidates are advised to check official details on the RPSC website.

• Corrections allowed within 10 days after the application closing date, via online portal with a fee of ₹500.

Jaipur JLO Recruitment

• Educational Qualification:
  Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university established by law in India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the government. 

• Language Proficiency:
  Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture. 

• Final year law students may apply, but must acquire eligibility before the interview. 

• Age Limit:
  Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2026. (Category-based age relaxations applicable. For example: SC/ST/OBC/EWS male - 5 years, Women (General) & SC/ST/OBC/EWS Women - 10 years, see note for full details).

RPSC JLO Application

• Written Exam: Four papers (Objective MCQ type), each paper for 3 hours. 

  • Paper I: Constitution of India, Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles, High Courts & Supreme Court, Attorney General – 50 Marks

  • Paper II: Civil Procedure Code & Criminal Procedure Code, Government Office Provisions – 50 Marks

  • Paper III: Evidence Act, Limitation Act, Interpretation of Statutes, Drafting & Conveyancing – 50 Marks

  • Paper IV: General Hindi (25 Marks) & General English (25 Marks)

• Passing Marks: 40% in each paper (35% for SC/ST). Negative marking: 1/3rd marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. 

• Interview: Qualifying candidates will be called for interview (not more than 10% of total marks). Final selection based on combined merit of written exam and interview.

Junior Legal Officer Rajasthan

• The recruitment is being conducted for the first time for Jaipur Development Authority. 

• The pay scale will be as per Pay Matrix Level L-10 (Grade Pay - 3600/-). 

• OMR sheet with 5 options per question: if not attempting a question, darken circle '5' as per instructions to avoid extra penalty. 

• All modifications in online applications (except in name, father’s name, DOB, gender after OTR) can be done with fees as per schedule.

1. Visit the RPSC website (https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in) or log in via SSO portal (https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in).

2. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) before applying.

3. Fill in the application form, upload necessary documents including recent live photograph and thumb impression.

4. Pay the required application fee online. 

5. Take a printout of the final submitted application for your records.
